I joined the Pharmasophy Unit in the Bioorganic Chemistry Department at the School of Pharmacy in July 2016 as a Master’s student. After earning my Master’s degree in 2017, I took on the responsibility of leading the Pharmasophy Unit. From 2017 to 2020, I successfully supervised five Master’s students who completed their degrees in this field. Currently, I continue to supervise both Master’s and PhD students while also teaching Analytical Chemistry to first-year pharmacy students.
My research focuses on the intersection of pharmacy, society, and ethics, with a particular interest in sustainable and green pharmacy practices. I have published extensively and presented my work at numerous international conferences. My academic and professional journey has been greatly enriched by my involvement in internationalization practices at Saarland University, where I manage the Meet&Greet program and have been awarded the ERASMUS+ Staff Mobility grant multiple times, visiting the University of Montenegro and Shota Rustaveli State University in Georgia.
In addition, I have been recognized with the DAAD-Programms STIBET award for my contributions as an international doctoral and postdoctoral researcher. I am also an organizer of the Global Classroom initiative, a DAAD-supported online teaching project that connects over 200 students from 24 institutions across 14 countries, fostering global collaboration in pharmacy education.

I recently completed my PhD in Bioorganic Chemistry at Saarland University, where I graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. My dissertation, titled "Critical Evaluation of Pharmacy: Truth, Control, and Application," explored the epistemology of pharmacy, focusing on how knowledge is constructed and validated within the field. The research critically examined the regulatory frameworks that balance uncertainty in pharmaceutical decision-making, considering the social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of pharmaceutical practices.
The topic of my Master was “ The philosophical implication of pharmaceutical impurities”. I reviewed the regulation of impurities and constructed what came to be known as the “Space of Knowledge”. The latter is an epistemological model that provides an adequate categorization of pharmaceutical impurities. The model was presented in the International Society for the Philosophy of Chemistry (ISPC) annual conference in Paris, Jul’17. In 2020, I managed to publish my thesis as an original manuscript and part of a special issue on pharmacy and society (https://doi.org/10.3390/ijerph17031030).
During my studies I enjoyed learning about pharmacology, pharmaceutics and pharmacology. I was also involved with organizing domestic excursions.
