Scientist spend much time looking for causes. Finding such causes and deciding what to do about them is not easy at all. At the Pharmasophy unite we aim to analyze the sources of knowledge in Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical research from a philosophical perspective. We adopt notions from the New Mechanitic Philosophy and apply them to the concepts of mechanisms in pharmacology.
This topic is greatly interesting from the perspective of policy making and pharmacovigilance.

Pharmacy is one of the first and most important professions in the history of human survival. Therapeutic practices utilizing plants, animals and other "thing" from nature laid down the foundations of what became the largest and most influential industry in the world, the pharmaceutical industry. At the Pharmasophy Unite we operate at the interface between pharmacy and society to address in a descriptive and normative senses how to develop and support Pharmacy.  

One other main interest of the Pharmasophy Unite is scientific communication. In the last two decades there have been an explosion the numbers of scientific journals under the umbrella of Open Access (OA). While we believe that OA represents the best possible scenario towards more open and available science, we address a few issue which would render publishing more transparent and democratic. To this end we have been since 2016 working to develop our vision and were successful in 2018 in establishing two peer-reviewed journal, Sci (https://www.mdpi.com/journal/sci) and Current Nutraceuticals (https://benthamscience.com/journals/current-nutraceuticals).

Utilizing nanotechnological approaches, such as particles size reduction and biogeneration of nanoparticles, to unleash the biological potentials of what otherwise is considered waste materials. For more information please see Publications.
